 Core Services are an array of mental health services and training available for youth and adolescents
with emotional and behavioral issues. Services can be initiated by Parents, Juvenile
Probation DJJ, DFCS Workers, School Counselors, Residential Facilities, Relatives,
Community Partners etc. Through our diagnostic assessment, which is completed by a
multidisciplinary team, a child’s level of care and immediate service needs are
determined and they are matched with services that will help them achieve their
treatment goals.

*Family Enrichment Programs and Services 
 Family Enrichment Services Provided:
Social-Emotional Learning Training -This training helps students learn about Social
Emotional Learning (SEL) which is how children develop the self-awareness, self-
control, and interpersonal skills that are crucial for success in school, work and life.

Positive Coping Training - Anger and Anxiety are two of the most common mental
health issues faced in today's society. This training can help both children and parents
understand anger and anxiety; and how to cope with it.

Together Tables  This program helps both parents and children to engage in open
communication and activities to address challenging situations by using

appropriate communication and engagement skills. With so many things going on
in our daily lives, it is important for families to take time to openly acknowledge
ourselves and how we feel. The Together Tables workshops will provide
experiential training on use of techniques that can easily be applied at home and in
everyday settings.

Anti Violence Academy - The Anti Violence Academy is designed to offer youth ages 9-
17 and their families enrichment activities and programs to promote positive youth, parent,
and family development. This program is designed to bridge the gaps of challenging
parenting skills and youth behaviors which could potentially lead to violence and criminal
behavior.
